0201 placement capability

Ultra Electronics CEMS has recently announced a further expansion of its Weymouth facility as a result of their continued growth plans for 2004/2005.

Keith Franklin, Operations Manager stated, "We have recently invested in both additional capital equipment and increased floor-space in order to provide the resources we need achieve our forward order-book and sales forecast. We have recently installed a new SMT line with leading edge capabilities including 0201 and odd shaped connector placement capability."

Franklin continued "We try where possible to future-proof our manufacturing services whilst providing our customer with value for money. A number of customers have already expressed interest in our 0201 placement capability which will be available from September 2004."
