At Ultra Electronics CEMS we aim to build long term strategic relationships with our customers.

Business relationships between manufacturing partners and their customers can break down from time to time due to a variety of reasons. At Ultra CEMS we try to minimise these situations by ensuring the relationship is built upon solid foundations from the outset.

We do this by asking ourselves the following questions to ensure there is a synergy between our business objectives and those of our customer.

  • Is there a 'fit' between our businesses e.g. quality requirements, volume set, value of business, etc?
  • Do we have the necessary manufacturing resources and service capabilities required by the customer?
  • Have we got the required experience in the core areas to add value to our customer's business?
  • Is there an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect?
  • Can the relationship satisfy both businesses commercially?
  • Is there a willingness to adopt a continuous improvement philosophy?
  • Are we able to future-proof our processes against our customers' likely requirements?

We have built our whole business ethos around doing what we say we are going to do. We do not say maybe or perhaps when we mean 'no'. In the real world mistakes do happen from time to time but we negate their effects by tight contract control by our account management team. We have been honing our electronic manufacturing services for over 40 years - the facts speak for themselves.
